Al-Bashiri and Al-Karim Attend Exhibition Featuring Local Fertilizers and Pesticides

Sana'a: The Acting Ministers of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, and of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Ammar Al-Karim, visited the permanent national exhibition showcasing locally manufactured fertilizers and pesticides today. The exhibition highlighted 150 products, providing a platform for these goods as safe alternatives for farming practices and soil management.

According to Yemen News Agency, the ministers were joined by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Capital Secretariat, Ali Al-Hadi, and his deputy, Mohammed Salah. They received detailed information from the organizers about the innovative features and successful experiments associated with the displayed products. These products are seen as crucial to supporting agricultural development plans and economic growth in Yemen.

Al-Bashiri expressed support for this industry, emphasizing its potential to aid in agricultural expansion. He committed to backing the local industry by offering free trademark registration and facilitating networking opportunities between producers and importers to enhance market reach. This initiative aims to foster the development and localization of the pesticide and fertilizer sector.

Ammar Al-Karim, the Acting Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, lauded the Ministry of Economy and Industry's efforts in broadening the market for local products. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Ministries of Agriculture and Economy to bolster local production and achieve long-term sustainable development.
