Al-Jawf: Sam Al-Bashiri, the Executive Director of the Yemeni Authority for Standards, Metrology and Quality Control, visited the Hazm Al-Jawf Inspection Center in Al-Jawf Governorate today to review the progress of operations. The visit focused on evaluating the center's workflow, inspection, and monitoring procedures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's director, Engineer Adnan Jabara, provided insights into the efforts being made to enhance oversight of incoming goods and products. Al-Bashiri commended the staff's efforts in protecting consumers from counterfeit and non-compliant goods that fail to meet the approved standard specifications.
Al-Bashiri highlighted the importance of streamlining and expediting procedures to benefit all stakeholders in the commercial process. He stressed the priority of consumer health and safety while also contributing to the strengthening of the national economy. Furthermore, he underscored the necessity to adhere to the standards and requirements set forth in the approved specifications and technical regulations.
