Sana'a: The governors of Abyan, Saleh Al-Junaidi, and Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, in collaboration with the director of Mukayras District, Yasser Jahalan, have inaugurated the Thira Pass (Mukayras-Lawdar) road, opening it to travelers.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the inauguration, Governor Abdullah Idris highlighted that the opening of Thira Pass and other roads aligns with the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and the Supreme Political Council. These efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of people in Al-Bayda and Abyan.
Governor Idris mentioned that remnants of war have been cleared to support the initiative of opening the "Al-Bayda-Abyan" road. This is part of the efforts to bolster the White Banner team's objectives.
Governor Saleh Al-Junaidi acknowledged the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council for their dedication to opening roads through humanitarian initiatives. He emphasized that these actions aim to ease citizens' hardships amid the ongoing conditions imposed by aggression and siege.
Mukayras District Director Yasser Jahalan praised the involvement of military and local leaders, as well as tribal sheikhs from Mukayras and Lawdar districts. He noted their contributions to accomplishing this humanitarian and service-oriented task, which facilitates citizens' mobility and relieves the suffering of large populations.
