Al-bayda: Governor Abdullah Idris inspected on Saturday the progress of work at the Prophet's Square in Al-Thawra City of the governorate's capital. The governor, accompanied by the director of Al-Bayda Rural District, Adel Al-Kassadi, reviewed the preparations at the square, which is designated to receive guests of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) from various districts, including Mukayras, Al-Zahir, Al-Sawma'ah, Dhi Na'im, Maswarah, and the city and surrounding areas of Al-Bayda.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the governor affirmed that this year's Prophet's Birthday celebrations will witness unprecedented public enthusiasm. He praised the efforts of those working on expanding and preparing the square, noting the importance of this religious occasion, stemming from the exalted status the Prophet Muhammad holds in the hearts of Muslims, especially the Yemeni people.
Idris pointed out that commemorating the Prophet's birthday embodies the Yemeni people's adherence to their faith-based identity. He emphasized their rejection of all forms of hegemony and readiness to make sacrifices in defense of the nation's causes, to reclaim their rights, and to end the siege and occupation.
