Al-Bayda Governor Reviews Food Supply Conditions in City Markets

Al-bayda: Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, reviewed on Tuesday the sales and purchasing operations in the city's markets ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. Governor Idris also examined the food supply situation in various markets and shops, and heard from Ahmed Al-Tahiri, Director of the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment, about the ongoing field campaigns monitoring market stability, tracking any price hikes, and detecting fraud or tampering with food products.

According to Yemen News Agency, the governor emphasized the importance of the campaign carried out by the Office of Economy in strengthening field oversight, controlling violators, and ensuring the availability of essential goods. He stressed the need for official and community efforts to cooperate with field inspection teams to prevent price manipulation and to consider the difficulties citizens face due to the ongoing aggression and blockade.

Governor Idris praised the Office of Economy for its efforts in maintaining food supply stability, ensuring the availability of goods, and controlling prices. He urged merchants to cooperate with these efforts and adhere to the prices set by the Ministry of Industry and Investment.
