Al-bayda: A speech event was held in Al-Arsh district of Al-Bayda governorate on Saturday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bayda governor Abdullah Idris described the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen the connection with the Prophet and emulate his values, principles, and noble character. He highlighted local celebrations, including cultural evenings and religious events, as reflecting the Prophet's place in the hearts of Yemenis. Idris called for drawing on the Prophet's values to promote brotherhood, compassion, solidarity, and community service.
For his part, Province Undersecretary Nasser Al-Aji said commemorating the Prophet's birthday reinforces religious and cultural awareness, particularly among young people, and provides an opportunity to study his life, conduct, and principles. He stressed the importance of translating love for the Prophet into practical conduct by promoting good morals, cooperation, social cohesion, and service to the community.
