Al-Bayda Meeting Focuses on Implementing Marriage Facilitation Document

Al-bayda: An expanded meeting of the Sharia secretaries in Al-Bayda Governorate was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of the Governor's Deputy for Administrative Units Affairs, Abdullah Al-Jamali, to discuss the mechanism for implementing the Marriage Facilitation Document and reducing excessive dowries.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Chief Judge of the Governorate Court of Appeal, Amin Zabara; the Governorate's Deputy, Muhammad Al-Humaqani; the Head of the Preparatory Committee for the Marriage Facilitation Document, Sheikh Mujahid Al-Wahbi; and the Director of the General Authority of Zakat Office, Haider Al-Gharib. The participants addressed the role of Sharia secretaries in implementing the document.

During the meeting, the Governorate's Deputy emphasized the importance of Sharia secretaries fulfilling their role in executing the document, praising the cooperation of the sheikhs in bringing the document into effect in response to the call of the Leader of the Revolution.

He urged the leadership of local and executive authorities in the governorate's districts, as well as relevant bodies, to engage with these efforts and not to accept any marriage contracts that violate the provisions of the document.
