US-Saudi-Emirati Aggression Results in Casualties and Destruction Across Yemen

Sana'a: On this day, June 12, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted citizens, their properties, markets, and infrastructure in several governorates, resulting in martyrs and wounded, and massive destruction of public and private property. According to Yemen News Agency, on June 12, 2015, airstrikes by the aggression's warplanes led to the death of 12 citizens and injuries to ten others at Yasnam Market in Baqim District of Saada Governorate. Additional casualties were reported with four citizens martyred and three injured in Al-Rabhi village, Monabbih District. The strikes extended across Bani Sayyah, Al-Nazir city, and various districts, causing significant damage. Airstrikes in the Old City of Sana'a on June 12, 2015, resulted in six citizen deaths, injuries to women and children, and the destruction of heritage-listed structures. In Amran Governorate, seven injuries and damage to key infrastructures were reported following multiple strikes. On June 12, 2016, agricultural equipment in Sirwah District, Marib Governorate, was destroyed by airstrikes, while mercenaries shelled Al-Makhdarah with artillery. The aggression continued with strikes on Jabal Aiber and Al-Ghail District, and mercenaries looted facilities in Taiz Governorate. By June 12, 2017, airstrikes in Al-Hodeidah Governorate injured women and children, while in Taiz Governorate, mercenaries inflicted injuries on a child. Airstrikes also targeted livestock and infrastructure, with further assaults in Hajjah and Jizan. The aggression persisted on June 12, 2018, with strikes in Saada and Taiz Governorates causing injuries, property damage, and deaths of livestock. Al-Hodeida Governorate saw further attacks on farms, exacerbating the humanitarian situation. On June 12, 2020, extensive airstrikes were reported in Hajjah, Marib, and Al-Jawf Governorates, with heavy artillery shelling in Al-Hodeida. The destruction impacted residential areas and led to further displacement and casualties. The following year, on June 12, 2021, similar patterns of ag gression were observed with airstrikes and artillery shelling in Saada and Marib Governorates, continuing to devastate civilian areas and infrastructure. By June 12, 2022, reconnaissance aircraft intensified attacks in Hajjah and other governorates, with mercenaries fortifying positions and opening fire on civilian areas, while Al-Hodeida witnessed spy aircraft airstrikes. The aggression persisted into June 12, 2023, with further airstrikes in Al-Hodeida and intensified shelling, underscoring the prolonged impact of the conflict on Yemeni citizens and infrastructure.
