Al-bayda: The agricultural sector, along with the local branches of the Slaughterhouses Corporation, the Geological Survey Authority, and the Foreign Ministry office in Al-Bayda Governorate, organized a commemorative event today to mark the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by Deputy Governors Zain Al-Rayami, Mohammed Al-Humaikani, and Nasser Al-Wahbi. In his remarks, Deputy Governor Saleh Al-Mansouri highlighted the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birth as an expression of reverence for the Messenger and affirmation of the profound place he holds in people's hearts, reflecting the historic stance of Yemenis in supporting him since the dawn of Islam.
Al-Mansouri emphasized the need for the nation to return sincerely to God and His final Messenger in order to build a Muhammadan Ummah that spreads goodness throughout the world. He added that commemorating the birth of the Prophet-the leader, savior of the Ummah, and teacher of humanity-angers the enemies of Islam while reaffirming the deep connection of the Yemeni people with their Prophet.
Also speaking at the event, which was attended by Bayda City Mayor Ahmed Al-Rasas, Slaughterhouses Corporation Director Mohsen Al-Sabbahi, and Foreign Ministry official Abdullah Al-Qasimi, the head of the Geological Survey branch, Hilal Al-Rayami, said that commemorating the Prophet's birth strengthens the Islamic nation's faith identity and carries profound significance at a time when the Ummah faces serious challenges targeting its identity and bond with the Seal of the Prophets.
For his part, agricultural sector official Engineer Mohammed Al-Haidari described the Prophet's birth anniversary as one of the most important and noble religious occasions that deserves full attention, especially in honoring, celebrating, and highlighting joy, while recalling the Prophet's noble character, blessed life, struggle, and courageous stances against tyrants and oppressors.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Scholars Association member Mohammed Al-Saqqaf said that the commemoration represents an opportunity to enhance Yemeni unity in the face of aggression and blockade, and to draw lessons of steadfastness from the Prophet's life in defending the oppressed and confronting aggressors.
The event, attended by executive and local officials, scholars, and community figures, also featured religious chants and poems expressing the spiritual meanings and values of the occasion.
