Al-Bayda Sees Launch of New Veterinary Clinic Project at Al-Sawadiyah Cooperative Association

Al-bayda: Deputy Governor of Al-Bayda, Ali Sheikh, inaugurated the veterinary clinic project affiliated with the Al-Sawadiyah Agricultural Cooperative Association. The project is set to enhance the district's agricultural infrastructure while offering integrated services for livestock and agriculture.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration event saw Deputy Governor Ali Sheikh and the Director of Al-Sawadiyah District, Yasser Al-Sawadi, receiving a detailed briefing from association officials about the project's components. The initiative is part of broader efforts to improve agricultural infrastructure in the district, complemented by awareness and agricultural extension programs.

Ali Sheikh commended the agricultural cooperative associations for their developmental and service-oriented role in supporting farmers and creating development plans in conjunction with local authorities. He highlighted the critical role of veterinary facilities and agricultural centers in curbing the spread of transboundary diseases, especially those transmitted through animals and birds, thereby enhancing the quality of livestock and agricultural production.

Furthermore, Sheikh noted that the establishment of such projects reflects the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership. It aligns with the Government of Change and Construction program, which aims to advance the agricultural sector.
