Hajjah: Al-Fajr team has secured a spot in the final of the Martyr Leader Football Championship in Hajjah, an event organized by the game’s federation in collaboration with the general mobilization and overseen by the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the decision came after a tense match against Shabab Tihama, where Al-Fajr triumphed through penalty kicks, winning five goals to four. The match concluded without any goals in regular time and was officiated by referees Akram Hamid Saha, Samir Al-Nafish, and Abdullah Al-Shater, with Mujahid Al-Qaili serving as the fourth referee.
This victory places Al-Fajr, noted for its robust defense, in a final showdown against the Martyr Abu Abdullah team, recognized for having the tournament’s strongest attack.
