Al-Hodeidah Association & Yemen Medicine Bank Launch Free Medical Camp for Internal Medicine & Psychiatry

Al-hodeidah: The Deputy Governor of Al-Hodeidah for Services Affairs, Mohammed Hleisi, inaugurated a free medical camp for internal medicine and psychiatry, organized by Al-Hodeidah Social and Developmental Charity Association in cooperation with the Yemen Medicine Bank.

According to Yemen News Agency, the camp will run for three days in partnership with the Governorate's College of Emergency Health and Technology, aiming to provide medical examinations, tests, and free medications for the targeted groups. During the inauguration, Deputy Governor Hleisi, accompanied by the Association's President, Dr. Ahmed Makki, reviewed the medical equipment and services that the camp will offer in the fields of internal medicine and psychiatry.

The deputy governor praised the efforts of the association and the Medicine Bank in establishing this humanitarian medical camp, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of patients in the governorate under the current circumstances. He emphasized the local authority's commitment to providing all necessary facilitation for such free humanitarian initiatives serving vulnerable groups.

Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Al-Hodeidah Association, Jamal Al-Hadrami, stated that the camp is part of the association's plan and activities for the current year, reflecting its social responsibility toward citizens by providing free medical services to those in need. Additionally, the Dean of the College of Emergency Health Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Washli, affirmed that the camp aims to expand the scope of free healthcare services and stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to organize more of such humanitarian camps.
