Al Hodeidah Holds Event for Visually Impaired on Prophet’s Birthday

Al hodeidah: The Yemeni Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Blind in Al Hodeidah Governorate held a celebratory event on Saturday to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event included the distribution of school uniforms and bags to 56 male and female students at Al-Diyaa Basic School, which is affiliated with the association.

According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized the importance of strengthening social solidarity and supporting visually impaired individuals. They highlighted the need to address the educational requirements of these students to ensure they can continue their studies without obstacles.

The event was seen as an opportunity to reinforce values of compassion and solidarity within the community. It encouraged initiatives that support students with disabilities, aiming to create a conducive environment for their education.

Speakers also pointed out the spiritual and humanitarian values associated with the occasion, which promote cooperation and care for vulnerable groups, particularly those students who persist in their educational pursuits despite facing various challenges.
