Al-Hodeidah: The members of the Supreme Coordination Committee conducted an inspection visit to monitor the implementation of Resilience Program 3 projects in Bajil District, Hodeidah. The visit was led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Mohammed Qahwan, alongside officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inspection visit focused on development projects such as constructing a water diversion barrier, a diversion channel in Wadi Seham, and paving Al-Damir Road. These initiatives are funded by the Binaa Foundation for Development and involve community participation as part of the Improving Livelihoods and Enhancing Resilience project.
The visiting team received a progress report from Project Consultant, Mukhtar Al-Samit, who highlighted the efforts made in implementing the Infrastructure Projects. The committee emphasized the importance of adhering to Engineering Specifications to ensure the sustainability of the projects.
The team also evaluated Vocational Apprenticeship Projects and engaged with beneficiaries to discuss the impact of Economic Empowerment Projects. They addressed the challenges beneficiaries face in managing small projects aimed at improving livelihoods.
Abdul-Moneim Al-Rifai, Director of the Directorate, reiterated the local authority’s commitment to supporting development projects. He emphasized the provision of facilities needed for their success, aligning with the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to position the directorate as a model for development and stability.
