Al-Hudhud Center for Archaeological Studies Condemns Zionist Attack on National Museum in Sana’a

Sana'a: The Al-Hudhud Center for Archaeological Studies condemned the Zionist aggression that targeted Yemeni archaeological sites yesterday, specifically the vicinity of the National Museum located in Tahrir Square in the center of the capital, Sana'a. The airstrikes resulted in civilian casualties, the destruction of parts of the museum building and its annexes, and damage to thousands of artifacts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the center indicated that the National Museum is one of the historic buildings constructed during the Ottoman period in Yemen. It was converted into a national museum in 1987 and houses thousands of artifacts.
