Al-mahdar: Deputy Minister of Local and Rural Administration and Development, Nasser Al-Mahdar, affirmed that the October 14 Revolution is a practical embodiment of the unity of the Yemeni revolution and the aspirations of the Yemeni people for freedom, unity, and the building of a secure and stable homeland, free from all forms of foreign dependency.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Mahdar stated in a press statement that this national occasion will remain an icon of liberation and independence, marking a pivotal point in the journey of the struggling Yemeni people and their ongoing fight to achieve freedom from all forms of occupation, guardianship, and domination.

He explained that all leaders and staff of the ministry, along with local authority bodies, will remain loyal to the blood of the righteous martyrs, exerting their utmost efforts to develop and intensify administrative, service, and developmental performance, aiming to achieve local and rural development across all administrative units.

Al-Mahdar highlighted that the national anniversary comes while the steadfast Yemeni people continue their liberation struggle against the new colonizers-the Israelis, Americans, and their agents and mercenaries-affirming that the aggression and its collaborators will soon vanish, thanks to the resilience of the striving people and the wisdom of their leadership.

He also touched on the chaos, security breakdowns, economic deterioration, and lack of services witnessed in the occupied governorates due to the practices and policies of the occupiers, who deliberately fuel disputes among different factions to perpetuate disorder and make these areas conducive to plundering the country's wealth and seizing its resources.

The deputy minister praised the struggles of the people in the occupied governorates who reject the occupiers' oppressive and brutal policies, calling on citizens in these regions to strengthen solidarity, cohesion, and unity of ranks to expel the occupation, just as their fathers and forefathers did in the recent past when they forced the British colonizers to leave in disgrace and defeat.
