Al-mahwit: The Deputy Governor of Al-Mahwit, Mohammed Ateeba, conducted an inspection of the summer course activities at various schools and centers in the Shibam District, focusing on the participation levels.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Ateeba was joined by the district mobilization official, Fawaz Fare', and the Director of the Agriculture Office, Yahya Shaye'. The team reviewed educational programs and activities at the Grand Mosque and Al-Zahra Girls' School, receiving a detailed briefing from the course organizers on student turnout and engagement.
The Deputy Governor acknowledged the organization and preparation of the summer courses and recognized the efforts in delivering programs that aim to develop young people's abilities and skills. He noted that these courses provide a key educational opportunity to instill faith-based values and strengthen students' connection to the Holy Qur'an, fostering a generation that can face challenges.
Ateeba also stressed the significance of using the summer vacation to enhance students' knowledge and skills, encouraging them to utilize their free time productively. He urged parents to motivate their children to participate in the summer courses, which offer a blend of education, guidance, and awareness.
