Al-mahwit: Al-Mahwit Governorate witnessed, on Friday afternoon after the weekly prayer, mass popular rallies reaffirming steadfast public support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and condemning the ongoing brutal Zionist aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the continuous crimes and violations committed against the Palestinian people.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies-attended by deputy governors, local, executive, and security officials in the provincial center and the districts of Al-Rajm, Shibam Kawkaban, Al-Tawilah, Al-Khabt, Hufash, Milhan, Bani Saad, and Jabal Al-Mahwit-raised the Palestinian flag and banners denouncing Zionist occupation crimes. They stressed the firmness of the popular and official stance in confronting challenges and conspiracies targeting the homeland and the nation.

The participants chanted slogans expressing public anger over the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Quds, reaffirming continued support for the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation. They emphasized continued resilience and steadfastness in confronting aggression and arrogant powers, rejecting any insult to Islamic sanctities and the Holy Quran.

A statement issued by the rallies affirmed that the Yemeni people are following with deep anger and pain the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds, despite announced agreements and pledges. It noted that the Zionist entity continues to commit massacres against children and women, destroy homes and infrastructure in Gaza, and carry out brutal practices against Palestinian female prisoners, using various methods of repression and terror.

The statement explained that the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon reveals the criminal nature of the entity, amid international silence and Arab and Islamic complacency toward the attacks targeting the nation's sacred values and vital causes. It reaffirmed Yemen's steadfast position in support of the Palestinian people and resistance forces, rejecting all forms of normalization and compromise, and called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take serious action in support of Palestine and the defense of Islamic holy sites.

The statement also renewed commitment and loyalty to the people of Gaza and Lebanon and all forces of the axis of jihad and resistance, affirming standing with them at all times and under all circumstances, ensuring that they will not be alone. It pointed to continued mobilization and high readiness levels, stressing that weapons are present and 'hands are on the trigger,' and that victory comes only from Allah.

The statement urged everyone to follow the lectures and lessons of the leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, delivered daily at 4 p.m., encouraging understanding of their content and the principles they contain regarding the nation's struggle, and full commitment to their guidance for the coming phase. It warned Muslims against the consequences of negligence and abandonment of responsibility toward the nation's central causes, stressing that the real danger lies in silence and inaction, not in resistance, which it described as the only path to salvation.

Furthermore, the statement condemned and denounced the continued use by the Saudi regime of the Hajj pilgrimage for political purposes and its prevention of Yemenis from visiting the Holy Mosque, calling for continued mobilization in support of those stationed on the fronts of dignity and honor. It called for Eid al-Adha to be a time for strengthening family ties, kindness to the poor and needy, attention to public cleanliness in streets and parks, and maintaining the civilized appearance of Yemeni society.

The statement urged the community, businessmen, tribal leaders, and social figures to widely contribute to supporting Eid aid convoys for fighters on the fronts of dignity and honor, in recognition of their sacrifices and steadfastness in defending the homeland, its sovereignty, security, and stability. It concluded that supporting those on the fronts is a national, religious, and moral duty that embodies values of solidarity and cohesion among the Yemeni people, calling for strengthening generosity and care for the families of martyrs, the wounded, and frontline fighters, in appreciation of their heroic stances and sacrifices in confronting aggression and arrogance.
