Al-Raheda Customs Foils Smuggling Attempt Using Donkeys

Al-raheda: Al-Raheda Customs Center in Taiz governorate, in coordination with the Anti-Smuggling Unit, seized a quantity of smuggled medicines, stimulants, and cigarettes transported on donkeys via the Abadan smuggling route.

According to Yemen News Agency, Center Director Mohammed Rashad al-Jabri reported that the seizure included 150 vials of medicine, 997 stimulant strips, and 10 cartons of cigarettes. He acknowledged the cooperation between the Anti-Smuggling Unit, military forces, and customs police in facilitating the seizure.

Deputy Director Fahd al-Mu'adhin highlighted the challenges posed by the center's location in rugged terrain with active smuggling routes. He affirmed the center's ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and prevent the entry of prohibited goods.
