Al-Ruwaishan and Shaiban Inspect Health Facilities in Al-Dhale’

Damt:Al-Dhale' Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan and Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban conducted an inspection of the Mother and Child Center and the Central Laboratory in the Damt district of Al-Dhale' governorate. The visit focused on evaluating the quality of medical services and assessing the facilities' requirements for medical equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials, joined by Deputy Ministers Nasser Al-Mehdhar, Adel Bader, and Acting Governor Abdullatif Al-Shaghdari, reviewed the operations of the medical departments. They examined the services provided to mothers and children, the center's readiness to receive patients, and the functionality of equipment at the Central Laboratory.

Director of the Governorate's Health and Environment Office, Abdulmalik Al-Ghurbani, provided a briefing on operational mechanisms, performance, and existing challenges. He also discussed potential solutions to enhance medical and health services for patients.

The visiting officials highlighted the government's commitment to improving the capacity of health facilities, particularly those serving maternal and child health. The Minister of Health praised the efforts of the Health Office leadership and the health sector staff for their dedication to community service.

Accompanying the delegation were the governorate's mobilization official Ahmed Al-Marani, Director of Damt District Sultan Fadel, planning sector official Adham Sufian, Director of Initiatives Hamed Al-Qahif, along with various local and security officials.
