Sanaa: The Security Department of Al-Safia District in the Capital: organized a cultural event marking the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day, under the slogan: 'With the leadership of Al-Karrar, we will liberate Al-Aqsa from the wicked Zionists.'
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Safia's Mobilization Officer, Abdullah Al-Ma'afa, highlighted aspects of Imam Ali's life, his struggles, his knowledge, his prominent stances in supporting Islam, and Muslims while confronting forces of disbelief and falsehood. He praised the merits and virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), noting that he embodied the continuation of the Prophet's leadership, his qualities, courage, knowledge, and asceticism, while warning against negligence and disobedience to divine guidance.
Al-Ma'afa stressed the importance of commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom and following his principles, which reflect the methodology of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). He emphasized that today the nation should draw inspiration from Imam Ali's values of patience in upholding the truth, steadfastness against falsehood, support for the oppressed, defense of its causes and sanctities, and confronting the conspiracies of enemies.
He also referred to the strong faith-driven stances demonstrated by the Yemeni people, their sincere devotion to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and their adherence to his path in defending the truth, the nation, and its sanctities-primarily the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque. Finally, he underscored the importance of continuing mobilization, vigilance, and advancing on the path of jihad and resistance against the Zionist and American enemies until victory is achieved.
