Kharif: The Local Council, the General Mobilization, and Al-Safiya Cooperative Association in Al-Safiya District, Capital Secretariat, organized today a central event for official and mobilization committees, celebrating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi) and preparing for wide participation in the central event at Al-Sabeen Square.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the First Deputy Secretary of the Capital, Khaled Al-Madani, emphasized the importance of preparation and mobilization for the grand central event commemorating the birth of light and guidance, for which the Yemeni people have been preparing for an entire month, in veneration, honor, and love for the Final Prophet, and in joy at his blessed birth (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
He pointed out that the honorable million-strong turnout to commemorate the Mawlid al-Nabawi is one of the days of God in which He illuminated the sky and the earth with His light from east to west, in celebration of the birth of the best of His creation.
Deputy Al-Madani praised the efforts, engagement, and interest of the residents of Al-Safiya in commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi through various events and activities, and the massive mobilization for the greatest occasion on earth.
The event featured poetic and chanting segments, as well as folk performances that embodied the greatness of the occasion.
