Al-Samai Evaluates Progress at Culture & Tourism Ministry

Sanaa: Sultan Al-Samai, a member of the Supreme Political Council, reviewed the progress of work at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and its various sectors on Tuesday. During his visit, Al-Samai commended the ministry's leadership and staff for their efforts to advance cultural and tourism work and enhance performance despite the challenges posed by aggression and blockade.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Samai received a comprehensive briefing from the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafai, about the ministry's performance, its affiliated bodies, and ongoing cultural and tourism activities. The discussion also included future plans aimed at further development. Dr. Al-Yafai addressed the conditions of artists and creatives, support aspects to enhance their roles, and the difficulties facing the ministry's work, along with the needs to activate its role and various sectors.

Dr. Al-Yafai expressed appreciation for the Supreme Political Council member's visit, highlighting it as a reflection of the leadership's commitment to monitoring progress in state institutions. He noted recent ministry activities, particularly those supporting the Palestinian cause and promoting faith-based identity, alongside plans and programs for future implementation. The Minister emphasized the critical role of intellectuals, writers, and creatives in raising awareness and enlightening in various fields.
