Sana’a: During his visit to the Shura Council on Sunday, Supreme Political Council member Sultan Al-Sami’i met with the Council’s Presidium, along with several heads and leaders of the Council’s standing committees. The meeting focused on discussing administrative and organizational aspects, enhancing the institutional structure of the Shura Council, and acknowledging the successes achieved by the Council recently.
According to Yemen News Agency, Supreme Political Member Sami’i lauded the significant position of the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and his directives for preparing against any aggression targeting Gaza or the US administration’s plans to displace Gaza’s population. He emphasized Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, pledging not to forsake Gaza or the Islamic holy sites until an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital is established.
Sami’i expressed solidarity, stating, “We are partners in the victory of Gaza, we will be partners in the survival of the Palestinians in their country. Gaza will return and be built better than it was, despite the nose of the Zionists.” He also highlighted the Supreme Political Council’s dedication to supporting the Shura Council in strengthening its institutional framework and enhancing the performance of its standing committees.
Speaker Al-Aydarous also praised the transformative speech of the revolution leader, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, emphasizing the bold messages directed at the Zionist entity and the US administration against the implementation of the displacement plan. He affirmed that the Shura Council backs the positions and actions of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in their continued support for the Palestinian cause and efforts to halt the Zionist entity’s crimes and the displacement scheme.
Al-Aydarous highlighted the community activities conducted by council members, which included participation in fieldwork, popular events, and resolving tribal issues, totaling over five thousand activities in the year 1446 AH. The Chairman of the Shura Council noted that these activities aligned with the Revolution Leader’s calls to support Gaza, confront aggression on Yemen, and address various community issues through mobilization and initiatives.
