Sana'a: Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi delivered a speech on the occasion of International Quds Day, emphasizing the significance of the day as a reminder of the Muslim Ummah's responsibility towards the Palestinian cause. The day, observed on the last Friday of Ramadan, highlights the ongoing threat posed by Zionist Jews who occupy Palestine and other Arab lands.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Houthi stressed the importance of confronting the Zionist movement's aim to establish 'Greater Israel' through regional domination. He called for active participation in demonstrations and public events to keep the Palestinian cause alive. The occasion, proclaimed by Imam Al-Khomeini, serves as a reminder of the Ummah's duty to protect Islamic holy sites and resist the Zionist threat.
Al-Houthi criticized the Arab world's historical reliance on Western powers like Britain and America, which he claims have supported the Zionist agenda. He urged the Ummah to return to the teachings of the Quran to understand the true nature of their enemies and the conflict. He emphasized that the Zionist project targets not only Palestine but the entire Muslim world, aiming for regional and global control.
The speech also highlighted the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the Palestinian cause and resisting Zionist aggression. Al-Houthi praised Iran's resilience and called for unified support against American and Israeli aggression. He reiterated the importance of military, political, and cultural readiness in confronting Zionist influence.
Al-Houthi concluded by urging the Yemeni people to participate in International Quds Day demonstrations as a form of jihad and a religious duty. He expressed solidarity with Iran and the Palestinian people and called for continued resistance against the Zionist enemy.
