Dhale’: The acting governor of Al Dhale’, Abdul Latif Al Shaghdari, inaugurated the food basket project aimed at supporting the poor and disadvantaged in the province. This initiative, launched on Wednesday, is set to provide essential food supplies to those in need.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being implemented by the Yemen Inmaa Development Foundation and plans to distribute 1,000 food baskets to targeted families. During the inauguration, Al-Shaghdari emphasized the importance of such projects in alleviating the struggles of the underprivileged, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, and highlighted the significance of social solidarity.
Al-Shaghdari also urged merchants and affluent individuals to recognize the needs of their impoverished neighbors and extend charitable support, especially as the holy month continues. This call to action aims to foster a community spirit and ensure that the needs of the less fortunate are met during this critical time.
