Al-Sufi Inspects Rehabilitation and Expansion of Main Entrance Road in Hajjah.

Hajjah: The Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, conducted an inspection of the ongoing work on the first phase of the rehabilitation and expansion project for the main entrance road in the governorate center. This initiative aims to improve infrastructure within the region, a significant step towards enhancing local transportation networks.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Sufi received a detailed briefing from Eng. Abdullah Al-Haddad, the director of the engineering unit, regarding the progress made on the project’s first phase. The project spans 950 meters and is being executed at a financial outlay of $405,000.

Governor Al-Sufi emphasized the importance of road projects, highlighting that they are a major priority for the local authority and are closely monitored by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council. He underscored the necessity of adhering to technical specifications and completing the project within the designated timeframe.

In his remarks, Al-Sufi lauded the ef
forts of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, relevant authorities, and the Abs Development Organization for their roles in the project’s execution. This endeavor is funded by the United Nations Development Program as part of the institutional and economic resilience project in Yemen, known as “Siri.”
