Sana'a: Local authorities and mobilization officials in al-Tahrir district of Sana'a province on Sunday organized a protest condemning the U.S. insult to the Holy Qur'an and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants raised copies of the Qur'an, denouncing the act as an attack on Islamic sanctities and Muslim values, and linking it to ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine with U.S. support.
A statement from the protest affirmed adherence to Islamic principles, rejection of such insults, and called for Muslim unity and the boycott of U.S. and Israeli products.
