Accra:Al-Thawra District Residents of the Al-Hasbah Al-Shamaliyah and Al-Nahda neighborhoods gathered for a large armed rally to mark the annual Martyr's Anniversary, condemning crimes by the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries. The event was held under the slogan 'Mobilization to Confront Escalation with Escalation.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally saw participation from various officials, including Capital Secretariat Planning and Finance Committee Chairman Sharaf Al-Hadi, District Director Sami Humaid, and mobilization official Saddam Al-Hababi, along with local leaders. Attendees chanted slogans rejecting enemies and honoring the sacrifices of martyrs.
The participants strongly denounced the Saudi aggression and the 12-year blockade imposed on Yemen. They praised the martyrs' sacrifices and pledged to support the fronts with fighters and funds until the blockade is lifted, Yemenis' rights are restored, and occupied territories are liberated.
District Director Sami Humaid reaffirmed the district's allegiance to Revolution Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and support for the armed forces, emphasizing the commitment to the principle of 'blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation,' regardless of sacrifices. He stressed the importance of continued mobilization until victory is achieved.
A statement from the rally declared full mobilization of fighters and equipment in response to Saudi crimes, condemning the ongoing aggression and blockade. It accused the Saudi enemy of trying to undermine Yemen's stance on regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, and of seeking to restore foreign dominance.
The statement also called for continued support for the revolutionary leadership and armed forces until the aggression and blockade end, and Yemen's rights and looted resources are recovered. It urged those misled into fighting against Yemen to rejoin the national fold and benefit from the presidential amnesty.
Participants congratulated Gaza and the Palestinian resistance on the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and honored the martyrdom of Al-Quds martyr Mohammed Abdulkarim Al-Ghamari, pledging to continue his path toward Al-Quds and confront oppressors.
