Sana'a: Sharaf Al-Hadi, head of the Planning Committee in the Capital Secretariat, inaugurated on Monday the educational activities and events in the schools of Al-Thowra Directorate to commemorate the blessed anniversary of the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH, upon him and his family be the best prayers and peace.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event at Sana'a School, which was attended by the director of the Educational District in the directorate, Amin Salahuddin, the speeches emphasized the importance of celebrating the birth of the Greatest Prophet (PBUH), emulating his morals and principles, and following his righteous path and methodology.
The speeches highlighted that reviving this great religious occasion embodies love and loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and adherence to the Holy Quran and the faith-based identity. They also pointed out the reverence and honor the Yemeni people hold for their noble Prophet, the mercy sent to all worlds, and their deep-rooted connection since the dawn of Islam, pledging to continue his path in confronting enemies and supporting truth and the oppressed.
The event, attended by educational leaders, staff, and social figures, featured religious chants, poetry, and cultural performances by the school's students in celebration of the Prophet's Birthday. In a related context, several public and private schools in Al-Thowra Directorate organized student activities and events in honor of the birth of the Greatest Prophet (PBUH).
