Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeeh Abu Shusaa and Chairman of Al Wahda Club Amin Juma'an honored the winners of the Ninth Al Wahda Summer Forum for Sports and Cultural Competitions. The event, held in the capital Sana'a, saw participation from over 1,000 young athletes.
According to Yemen News Agency, the forum featured football, basketball, and equestrian tournaments, alongside competitions in Quran memorization, poetry, and Quranic culture. During the closing ceremony, Abu Shusaa commended Al Wahda Club for its contributions to youth development and encouraged other clubs to follow suit. Juma'an congratulated the winners and noted that the forum's conclusion coincided with the club's 70th anniversary and Yemen's 35th National Day. He reaffirmed the club's dedication to ongoing improvement.
Mohammed al Qadri, Vice Chairman of Al Ahli Hodeida Club, praised the Al Wahda Club Forum as an important Yemeni sports institution. Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital Sana'a, emphasized the club's consistent efforts in organizing youth events, which play a crucial role in uncovering young talents.
