Al-mahwit city: The Secretary-General of the Local Council, Dr. Ali Al-Zaikam, and the Deputy Governor, Hamoud Shamlan, inspected the restoration and rehabilitation works of the streets in Al-Mahwit City, implemented by the Public Authority for Roads and Bridges with funding from the Road Maintenance Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were briefed by the Director of the Authority's branch, Engineer Ahmed Al-Yana'i, on the project's implementation phases, which include repairing the asphalt layer, addressing cracks, and repaving damaged sections according to technical specifications.
Al-Zaikam emphasized the importance of implementing projects to the highest specifications, noting that improving internal roads directly contributes to serving citizens and driving local development. He affirmed the ongoing support of the local authority for infrastructure projects in the governorate.
