Sana'a: The Presidential Committee tasked with organizing the central event for the Prophet's birthday in the Maswar District of Amran Governorate convened an extensive meeting with the local council, executive offices, and influential social figures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Director of the Presidential Office Fahd Al-Ezzi, members of the House of Representatives Hamid Rajeh and the Shura Council Ahmed Al-Zubairi, as well as Deputy Governors Amin Farasi and Abdul Rahman Al-Ghouli. Mujahid Al-Qahali, Chairman of the Regions and Governorates Committee of the National Reconciliation and Comprehensive Solution Committee, stressed the significance of the Prophet's birthday as a pivotal day in human history, marking the liberation of humanity from polytheism and idolatry.
Al-Qahali highlighted the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a means to learn about and emulate the life of the Prophet. He called for mobilization and active participation in the central event, scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal in Al-Sab'een Square in the capital. He also praised the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, for his stance in supporting the people of Gaza amidst the ongoing crimes against them.
Cultural activist Yahya Abu Awada underlined the Yemeni people's dedication to making this year's central celebration a prominent event on both Islamic and global stages. He emphasized that the event would send a strong message to the enemies of the Islamic nation about the Yemeni people's deep connection and love for the Prophet.
The meeting also included speeches from the district's social figures who outlined the preparatory activities undertaken in recent days. They emphasized the district's commitment to participating actively in the event to express their devotion to the Prophet. The gathering featured a poem and expressive songs, further enriching the spirit of the occasion.
