Amran: The Education Sector in the Amran governorate organized a speech event on Wednesday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). During the event, Deputy Governor Amin Firas and other officials highlighted the significance of the Prophet's teachings in contemporary times.
According to Yemen News Agency, Mohammed Al-Ghareb, the governorate's mobilization official, emphasized key moments from the Prophet Muhammad's life, focusing on values such as patience, steadfastness, and justice. He drew parallels between the Prophet's stance against injustice and the current situation in Gaza, suggesting that lessons from the Prophet's life can inspire perseverance and resilience today.
Al-Ghareb portrayed Prophet Muhammad as a pivotal educator who laid the foundations of a great civilization through his moral values. He urged for the Prophet's example to be a guiding light for raising future generations with values like honesty, sincerity, trustworthiness, loyalty, and courage. He also pointed out that the Muslim nation's current challenges are due to straying from Quranic teachings and the Prophet's guidance.
The event also addressed the impact of ongoing conflict on the education sector, including damage to infrastructure, deprivation of education for millions of students, and the suspension of teachers' salaries. Attendees included the governorate's education sector official, Abdulrahman Al-Amad, and Security Director Brigadier General Mansour Al-Hamzi.
Deputy Education Sector Official Saleh Al-Zafni expressed that commemorating the Prophet's birthday signifies deep devotion to his teachings and strengthens future generations' connection to his morals and values. He noted the Yemeni people's historical commitment to their faith-based identity and Quranic culture, despite efforts to undermine it and introduce foreign influences.
