Amran: A comprehensive preparatory meeting was held on Saturday in the Amran governorate, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an, to discuss arrangements for commemorating the Prophet's birthday for the year 1448 AH. The meeting focused on the preparation plan for the central celebration venues in the cities of Amran and Houth.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included directors of executive offices, government institutions, and relevant authorities. It highlighted the importance of allocating a general program for the celebratory events and a specific implementation plan for each office and government agency. Tasks and responsibilities were defined to ensure organized implementation, reflecting the occasion's significance in the community.
The attendees reviewed guidelines for commemorating the Prophet's birthday, which include community, cultural, and awareness-raising activities. They emphasized coordination among various entities to implement a program that embodies the occasion's significance and strengthens the connection to Prophet Muhammad. The meeting approved task distribution among relevant bodies within the preparatory committee.
This includes cultural and educational activities, beautification projects, cleaning campaigns, and other events that reflect faith-based identity and Islamic values. Governor Juma'an affirmed the spiritual and educational significance of the Prophet's birthday, urging broad engagement and participation in the celebrations.
Dr. Juma'an stressed the importance of early preparation for the events and programs, requiring unified efforts among executive offices and local authorities. This includes cleaning and beautification campaigns, decorating streets and public institutions, and showcasing expressions of joy, befitting the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers.
