Amran Hosts Multiple Events to Celebrate Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday

Amran: A series of official and community events are continuing across Amran Governorate to commemorate the Prophet Mohammed's birthday, reflecting the significance of the religious occasion among local residents.

According to Yemen News Agency, the events, held across several districts, include cultural, educational, and public activities highlighting lessons from the Prophet's life and emphasizing his values, ethics, compassion, cooperation, and social solidarity. In the Ayyal Hatim area of Jabal Yazid District, a public celebration was held with the presence of Amran Governor Faisal Jamaan, local officials, and social figures. Speakers highlighted the religious significance of the occasion and called for strengthening brotherhood, solidarity, cooperation, and social responsibility while upholding the Prophet's values.

Meanwhile, the governorate's health sector, represented by the Health and Environment Office and Al-Samad Martyr Hospital Authority, held a celebratory event. First Deputy Governor Abdulaziz Abu Khurfasha emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a religious occasion that strengthens attachment to the Prophet of mercy and humanity. Health Office Director Mohammed Al-Houthi and Deputy Head of the Grievances Authority Abdulqader Al-Ghamari stated that the occasion should go beyond celebrations to reflect on the Prophet's life and translate his values and principles into everyday conduct.

In the educational sector, Aisha Educational Complex organized a student event featuring cultural and chanting performances highlighting students' engagement with the occasion and aspects of the Prophet's life. Similar educational and cultural events were held in Al-Sawd and Khamir districts, emphasizing the importance of instilling love for the Prophet among younger generations and familiarizing them with his life, morals, and teachings.

As part of community solidarity and charitable initiatives, a free medical camp was also launched at the Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Amran city, providing free internal medicine, cardiac examinations, and treatment for three days.
