Amran: A meeting held on Thursday in Amran Governorate discussed preparations and arrangements for welcoming the holy month of Ramadan and the summer courses for the year 1447 AH. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Youth for the Youth Sector and Head of the Supreme Committee for Summer Courses, Abdullah Al-Razhi; the governorate's Mobilization Official, Sajad Hamza; the Educational Sector Official, Zaid Rattas; along with district directors and mobilization and educational officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed preparations for the Ramadan program and the activities, programs, and charitable initiatives it will include. The discussions also addressed the Ramadan plan and preparations for this year's summer courses, mechanisms for forming sub and executive committees at the governorate and district levels, and defining their tasks and responsibilities.
Further discussions covered the roles of relevant authorities and executive offices and the mechanism for implementing Ramadan councils at the level of villages and sub-districts. These efforts aim to strengthen attachment to the Holy Qur'an and the faith-based identity, contributing to activating educational and mobilization efforts during the holy month.
During the meeting, Al-Razhi emphasized the importance of early preparation for Ramadan as a faith-based and educational milestone for reinforcing religious values, encouraging Qur'an recitation, and promoting social solidarity and charitable work. He stressed the need for integrated efforts to ensure the success of the Ramadan program and summer courses, implementing activities in accordance with the approved plan, and benefiting from the lectures of the Revolution Leader to strengthen attachment to the Qur'an and faith-based values.
Hamza highlighted the role of educational and cultural elites, preachers, and guides in raising community awareness of the importance of making the most of the holy month through acts of worship and good deeds. He also reviewed the executive plan of the Ramadan program, its objectives, and the procedures in place, emphasizing thorough preparation to make the most of Ramadan's blessings and to grow in piety and guidance.
The meeting described Ramadan as a Qur'anic, faith-based educational station that refines souls, reinforces adherence to faith-based identity, and contributes to nurturing a conscious generation committed to religious principles.
