Amran: The sub-districts and districts of Amran province today witnessed celebratory festivals, evenings, seminars, and preparatory events to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) for the year 1447 AH. At these events, which were attended by local authority leaders, participants enjoyed poems, folklore segments, and choral performances, expressing their joy and pride in marking this significant religious occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches delivered during the gatherings emphasized the importance of the occasion and its cherished place in the hearts of Yemenis, highlighting the profound connection they feel with Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The commemoration of Ghadir Day was described as a faith-based milestone, serving as a reminder of the values and principles established by the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family). It was also seen as an embodiment of the meanings of guardianship (wilayah) grounded in truth, justice, and guidance.
The speeches urged broad participation in the upcoming Thursday morning events across various squares of the province to honor the Day of the Guardianship of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
