Sanaa:Tribes in the Anes District of Dhamar Governorate have declared a general mobilization to support the armed forces and confront what they describe as Saudi enemy crimes against wounded and captive Yemenis.
According to Yemen News Agency, the armed tribal gathering took place on Wednesday, where tribal leaders expressed their readiness to provide fighters, weapons, and equipment to the fronts. They aim to meet escalation with escalation.
Shura Council member Mohammed Al-Fatimi emphasized the tribes' commitment to sacrifice and resist Saudi 'arrogance,' stating they would not tolerate subjugation or injustice. He asserted that the Anes tribes are prepared to bolster the fronts with men and arms until victory is achieved and all Yemeni territory is liberated.
Activist Hisham Al-Shaghadri highlighted that the gathering demonstrated the tribes' determination to defend Yemen's dignity, land, and sovereignty while rejecting foreign control.
The tribal statement condemned the alleged Saudi killings of captives and wounded Yemenis, including incidents of being killed or run over by armored vehicles. Such acts were described as war crimes that violate religious, tribal, humanitarian values, and international conventions.
Furthermore, the statement reiterated support for the armed forces and leadership, calling for continued mobilization and recruitment. It also urged those who had been misled to return to the national ranks under the general amnesty.
