Sana'a: The annual conference of scholars, titled "Yemeni Scholars in the Face of Aggression and Blockade," began today in Sana'a, the capital. Organized by the Yemeni Scholars Association, the conference commemorates the Prophet's birthday, expresses support for the leadership's decisions and the armed forces' operations, continues solidarity with Gaza, and addresses developments in the Islamic world.
According to Yemen News Agency, the conference is being held in the presence of the Grand Mufti of Yemen, Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, the Acting Prime Minister, Muhammad Muftah, and a distinguished group of scholars from Sana'a and various governorates across the country. The conference's theme is the verse from the Quran: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves."
