Sana'a: Deputy Chairman of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption, Ridan al-Mutawakil, has received the second financial disclosure statement from Luqman Mohammed Ali Baras, the Governor of Hadramout. This submission is in compliance with the Financial Disclosure Law No. (30) of 2006.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Mutawakil commended Governor Baras for his commitment to transparency and public integrity by adhering to the financial disclosure requirements. This step is seen as a measure to safeguard public service and promote accountability within governmental roles.
The handover of the financial disclosure was witnessed by several officials, including Authority member Dr. Abdulaziz al-Kummim. Governor Baras emphasized that his submission aligns with the legal obligations set out in the Financial Disclosure Law, highlighting his dedication to maintaining integrity in public office.
The event was also attended by Mohammed Al-Qanass, Head of the Financial Disclosure and Anti-Illicit Gain Department at the Authority, and Abdulmalik Shaea, Director General of the Department for Monitoring and Receiving Financial Disclosures, both of whom play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial transparency regulations.
