Sanaa: A member of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kumaim, inspected today the progress of summer activities at the Fatima Al-Zahra Scientific and Cultural Center in Al-Safiya District, Capital Sanaa.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Kumaim was accompanied by the head of the Rural Electricity Authority, Engineer Abduljabbar Al-Shami; the Secretary General of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Ahmed Atef; and various department heads including Adel Al-Aqabi, Mohammed Al-Qanas, and Dr. Qais Al-Tal. The team reviewed the targeted activities and programs, assessing the level of turnout and engagement among the center's students.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Kumaim emphasized the importance of developing the capacities of young people and utilizing their free time during the summer vacation in beneficial ways. He noted the significant attention given by revolutionary and political leadership to summer courses and activities, aiming to build a conscious and educated generation capable of facing challenges and serving society. He highlighted the role of these activities in enhancing faith identity and Quranic culture.
In his remarks, Engineer Al-Shami stressed the importance of summer courses in confronting cultural challenges faced by youth and adolescents. He urged cooperation to ensure the success of these courses. Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Tal expressed appreciation for the Anti-Corruption Commission's interest in visiting the summer course students and implementing awareness programs focused on values like integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
