Approval of Tenders for 10 Public Works and Roads Projects Worth Over 902 Million Rials

Sana'a: The Tenders Committee in Ibb Governorate, in its meeting today chaired by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Amin al-Warafi, approved tenders for ten projects in the public works and roads sector with a total cost of 902 million and 907 thousand rials.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Deputy Governors Abdulwahid al-Marwa'i and Qasim al-Masawe, Chairman of the Services Committee in the Local Council Bashir Abdulmughni, Chairman of the Technical Committee Engineer Issam al-Mukhadri, and Local Council member Amin Al-Qasim. They discussed the challenges facing project implementation and explored appropriate solutions.

Al-Warafi emphasized the importance of joint efforts to implement the projects approved within the local authority's plan for the year 1447 AH, based on priority. He highlighted the necessity of strengthening oversight in executing service and development projects, underscoring the importance of the approved road projects in facilitating citizens' movement and contributing to development.

He urged the technical committee, relevant offices, and administrative units to coordinate among themselves to ensure the projects are completed according to specifications and within the set timeframe. Additionally, he stressed the need for regular progress and quality reports to monitor the projects effectively.
