According to Yemen News Agency, this action was taken as a triumph for the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and as a rejection of the alleged genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the people in the Gaza Strip. The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized their commitment to fulfilling their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties toward the oppressed Palestinian people.
The statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces highlighted that while pilgrims prepare to stand in Arafat, glorifying and praising Allah, the bloodshed continues in Gaza without support or relief from the Islamic Ummah. The Yemeni Armed Forces called on all peoples and countries of the Ummah to fulfill their duties and to abandon indolence, dependence, inaction, and subservience.
The Yemeni Armed Forces declared that their operations against what they described as the criminal Zionist enemy will persist until the aggression against Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted.
