Armed Rallies in Al-Safiyah Mobilize Against Saudi Escalation

Sana'a:Residents of Al-Thawra and Al-Fath neighborhoods in Al-Safiyah District held two armed rallies on Tuesday, supporting the armed forces under the slogan 'Mobilization and Preparedness to Confront Escalation with Escalation,' in observance of the annual Martyr's Day anniversary.

According to Yemen News Agency, the rallies were attended by various officials and local leaders, including Capital Secretariat adviser Mohammed Ahmed, Interior Ministry adviser Major General Abdulkarim Al-Marouni, District Director Naji Al-Shaiani, and Neighborhood Affairs Director Abdullah Al-Ansi. Participants chanted slogans denouncing what they described as enemies, traitors, and collaborators, affirming their commitment to the sacrifices of martyrs and pledging to follow their path.

The participants expressed their full readiness to support the fronts defending Yemen and its sovereignty with funds and personnel, backing the armed forces in confronting Saudi enemies and mercenary mobilization until victory is achieved. They also renewed their unconditional authorization for Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the armed forces to respond to escalation with escalation, break the blockade, deter Saudi aggression, secure the Yemeni people's rights, and expel occupying forces.

The rallies' statement strongly condemned what it termed as the Saudi regime's continued fabrications and false allegations against the Yemeni people, including claims of attacks on Mecca and Medina, calling them grave slanders. It also denounced Saudi crimes and escalation against the Yemeni people, attacks on civilians, the killing of women and children, and the continued blockade of Yemen, accusing Riyadh of serving Zionist interests and punishing Yemen for its stance on Palestine and support for the people of Gaza.

The statement urged district residents and Yemenis nationwide to actively participate in events marking the annual Martyr's Day anniversary, including visiting and honoring the martyrs' families.
