Al-hodeidah: Residents of Al-Marawaa District in Al-Hodeidah Governorate held an armed tribal gathering on the occasion of Al-Sarkah annual anniversary against arrogance, under the slogan: 'Al-Sarkah is a Weapon and a Stance.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the gathering was attended by Member of Parliament Sheikh Hussein Qasirah, local authority leaders, mobilization officials, security and military commanders, and social figures. Participants raised the slogan of disavowal, affirming their adherence to the Quranic project founded by the late leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi as a path to saving the nation and confronting global powers of arrogance.
Director of the district Abdullah al-Marony stated that the armed gathering sends strong and direct messages to the enemies of Allah and global arrogant powers, stressing that all their plots targeting the western coast will end in failure and loss. He explained that the high vigilance of the fighters in Al-Marawaa, alongside deep-rooted popular awareness, has formed a solid front of resilience capable of exposing and foiling enemy schemes and suspicious movements.
He pointed out that adherence to the Quranic project is the true guarantee for protecting society from infiltration, stressing that the people of Tihamah will remain the rock upon which the illusions of invaders and occupiers are shattered, in loyalty to the sacrifices of martyrs and in response to the guidance of the revolutionary leadership.
Al-Marony added that betting on destabilizing security and stability in the western coast is a losing bet, as society today possesses sufficient awareness, insight, and Quranic culture that enables it to understand the dimensions of conspiracies and the scale of plots being hatched against it, remaining steadfast in its defensive trench. He reaffirmed that the popular armed mobilization in Al-Marawaa is part of a comprehensive state of readiness to confront any escalation, stressing that societal awareness is the strongest weapon-preceding the barrel of a gun-in protecting land and honor.
For his part, Sheikh Rajhi Zailil stated that the people of Al-Marawaa District have played a prominent role in foiling the plans of aggression, noting that they, alongside fighters from across Yemen, succeeded in thwarting a plan by the enemy to seize the port and city of Al-Hodeidah in recent years. He explained that the tribes of Al-Marawaa formed a thorn in the face of aggression, contributed effectively to confronting it and preventing it from achieving its objectives on the western coast.
The statement issued by the gathering, read by Sheikh Ibrahim Basilah, emphasized the importance of commemorating Al-Sarkah annual anniversary due to its significant impact in strengthening the values of faith-based identity, reinforcing its principles, and confronting the US-Israeli aggression and its crimes against the Islamic nation and its holy sites. It also reaffirmed continued resilience, steadfastness, national cohesion, ongoing support for the higher leadership, armed forces, and support for the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, until victory is achieved.
The statement stressed the importance of building future generations according to the values of faith-based identity, in a way that protects youth from the dangers of soft warfare, enhances their awareness of various challenges, and encourages following the path of the nation's leaders in confronting current challenges. It further called for continuing to organize events, activities, and awareness-raising and mobilization programs, raising the slogan of the 'Al-Sarkah' as a principled stance against enemies, reinforcing the approach of boycott, rejection of normalization and dependency.
