Arrangements Underway for 2nd Medical Camp for Families of Martyrs in Sana’a and Governorates


Sana’a: The Ministry of Health and Environment held a meeting on Saturday, chaired by Deputy Minister Dr. Nasher al-Qaoud, to discuss final arrangements for the Second Annual Medical Camp dedicated to the families of martyrs in the Capital Sana’a and various governorates.



According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was conducted via video conference and included participation from Dr. Essam al-Rumaima, Undersecretary for Health Studies and Research, as well as directors of hospitals and health offices, representatives of the Martyrs Authority, and other relevant agencies.



The medical camp, organized in collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families, is part of the events marking Martyrs’ Day. It aims to provide free medical and surgical services to the families of those who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland.



Dr. al-Qaoud praised both public and private hospitals for their continued commitment to supporting martyr families, emphasizing the moral and national duty to ease their suffering. He confirmed that services during the camp will include examinations and surgeries, with referral procedures in place for more complex surgical cases.



The upcoming camp will offer specialized care in ophthalmology, cardiology, orthopedics, joints, brain, and neurology, and similar camps are planned across multiple governorates.
