Attorney General Evaluates Prisoner Release Preparations in Taiz

Taiz: Attorney General Judge Abdul Salam al-Houthi inspected the conditions of prisoners in Taiz Governorate to facilitate the release of those who will be freed on the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday (1448 AH).

According to Yemen News Agency, the Attorney General's visit included meetings with several key figures. He met with the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed al-Masawi; the representative of the Leader of the Revolution and Head of the Supreme Political Council on the Committee for Addressing Prisons and Prisoners, Sheikh Ali Qirsha; the Head of the Governorate's Public Prosecution, Judge Abdullah al-Sani'; and the Head of the Governorate's Grievances Redress Authority branch, Rashid al-Kadahi.

The purpose of the visit was to ensure that the necessary steps are being taken for the timely release of prisoners in conjunction with the upcoming celebration. This initiative is part of a broader effort to address grievances and improve conditions within the prison system in Taiz.
