Attorney General Urges Swift Resolution of Cases in Al-Mahwit Governorate

Al-mahwit: The Attorney General, Judge Abdulsalam Al-Houthi, conducted an inspection to assess the progress of judicial work in the prosecutions of Al-Mahwit Governorate as well as several first instance prosecutions. During the inspection, he emphasized the necessity of swiftly resolving delayed cases and adhering to the legal detention periods.

According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Al-Houthi highlighted the importance of prioritizing cases involving public funds and crimes related to aggression. He also underscored the need to activate prison oversight to ensure that detentions are conducted legally.

Moreover, Judge Al-Houthi called for improvements in the work environment and encouraged enhanced coordination with judicial control authorities. These measures, he noted, are essential for expediting litigation procedures and safeguarding individuals' rights and freedoms.
