Authority Distributes Cash for Eid Clothing to Martyrs’ Children in Multiple Provinces

Hodeida: The General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons has commenced the distribution of cash for Eid clothing to the children of martyrs in various governorates where holding in-person clothing exhibitions was not feasible.

According to Yemen News Agency, the cash disbursement is aimed at benefiting 16,005 children of martyrs in the provinces of Hodeida, Dhale’, Mahweet, Taiz, Raymah, Shabwa, Lahj, Marib, and parts of Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Sa’ada, and Sana’a. The total cost of this initiative amounts to 480 million and 120 thousand Yemeni Riyals. The Authority has confirmed the initiation of these payments through rapid transfer methods.

Previously, the Authority had organized in-kind Eid clothing exhibitions in the regions of Sana’a, Amran, and parts of Hajjah, Dhamar, Sa’ada, Sana’a, Jawf, and Bayda. The comprehensive cost for both in-kind and cash Eid clothing support for all children of martyrs and missing persons under 19 years is estimated at 1.4 billion riyals.

This initiative for Eid clothing is a part of the Authority’s seasonal projects, designed to provide holistic support and care to the families of martyrs and missing persons, ensuring their essential needs are met.
